Topaz scanner SW

Since Heidelberg took over Linotype-Hell I'll ask this here:
Does anyone know what, if any, software will work with a Topaz scanner. Our current software is Linocolor 3 and needs a Nubus card to run so its stuck on an 8100 Mac. I would like to move the scanner to a faster machine. Thanks

Linocolor 6 - os9

newcolor - Pc and osX

ive never used newcolor, but i loved linocolor, it wont work in classic enviroment for scanning, but it does work in classic for just color correcting. just use a single processor g3/g4 with os9.2.2 (thats if you can find a version somewhere) and it should do fine. also i was told hiedleberg has stopped making scanners. so im not sure if newcolor is still out there. for i know of no one using it.

I couldn't find linocolor or Newcolor anywhere. I guess I'll keep using the Topaz on an 8100 until one of them dies.

I doubt you can buy LinoColor as a standalone app, ya know how Heidelberg is about their upgrades and all.

The shop I just left still keeps a B&W G3 to run that beast, I forget what version the LinoColor is though.

yeah!

Found a local scanner guy who had the "golden" memory card and Linocolor 6! I can finally run the scanner on a 1.2ghz accelerated G4!
Thanks for your comments & suggestions.
