A little help for a press man

I do press checks for an ad agency and was talking to a pressman about this site and how great it was to get and give help on printing related issues. He was asking if I knew of any sites like this specifically for guys who run the press. This site is mostly prepress obviously. Could anyone suggest a site that I could give to this pressman that deals with more press issues and less prepress issues? Any help would be appreciated.

Im pretty new here, but that is a good question. They have as much troubleshooting as we do, if not more. I know, I used to run presses.

This site has some of the same information he may need or a person that could answer his question. Maybe a section on Pressman related questions by Cory. I don't believe their is one because they are working the floor all the time and don't have the time to surf the web.

How about "General Pressroom." Nothing stopping pressmen to join up and post. http://www.prepressforums.com/forum/general-pressroom/

Pressman concerns

I agree that Pressman are always on the floor. As a Pressman myself, I know that most pressman do not work with computers. I just happen to branch out to prepress and since I am the Computer IT person, I am involved more than just running the press.

I do not know of any good pressman forums either
