dolev 250 question...please, please.

Does anyone here have a dolev 250?
I have a question regarding res intensity.
Ours is set at 500 res.
We try a higher number and we get a laser intensity calibration error.
I am trying to determine if my laser is singing a swan song on me.

A while back (3 years) a creo tech told me to remove the ND filter.
We've been running without it since and I'm just curious if the res intensity is meant to degrade over time as the machine ages.

Anyone have any practical been there done that advice for me?

500 res?? That's 12,700 dpi! What happens when you run at 100 res which is 2540 dpi?

I'm sorry Matt, I seem to be confused.
The Res I mention has to do with the laser light intensity, not file depth dpi.
Unless I'm reading your quote wrong.

Are you a dolev 250 user? if so, what is your laser intensity setting on your excurves for the different resolutions?
