Font Embedding Issues

Anyone having issues with newer fonts not embedding?

I've had 2 jobs the past week with fonts that I can't embed?
I tried with pitstop...no go. Then pull into indy to see if I get the message.
"cant embed font due to licensing restrictions blah blah"

Any workarounds? Just worried with our workflow that if the font is not loaded on the computer when ready for plate we will have issues.

What a bunch of crap, fonts can be a pain as is. Now this junk.

I had a problem with a font problem like yours a couple of years ago with a quark file going to our old pdf flow. It was a simple job not much text. See if you can outline the text first in Indy or illy.

if you have the font file try running this utility to help be productive . . .

TTFPATCH - a free tool to change the embeddable flag (fsType) of TrueType fonts

Had the same problem here. What I did was to set my PitStop Server to convert all text-to-curves. No fonts, no problems.

I've thought about that...
I have older pitstop...thought about upgrading for this issue.
Can you tell if the type looks like it has a stroke around it?
