gnubler - you are right about ther shadows - illy is the same as well

i'm hearing you kim and i'm half and half on that one - for me here anyway (packaging)

by doing it manually i can control traps on the sheet and trap individual elements as well - typically towards back edge of sheet

if i use one common pdf then controlling that trap is a nightmare - but it will work very nicely in some instances and i do occasionally do that as well

Go for an automated solution which features hot folders and dynamic templates, Impostrip On Demand Digital. It is a very easy to use solution.
