Do you ask for help JUST to shoot down the answers that people give you? Seems to be a pattern with you.
Either that or are you just too lazy to learn to do your job correctly?

Why not just impose it in Quark or Indesign? Preps will do this easily too using independent pages.
OOps! I see that someone has already said that...
You have preps and you dont want to learn it???? hmmm. Your really limiting yourself. One afternoon of learning will have you making impo's in three minutes. You'll be a star to management!

As stated, you can save templates from Indy for all kinds of layouts, and then just update links when the new files/ new jobs come in.. my layouts and exporting pdf's is as fast and easy as any impo software.
and for once I agree with Pointy, seems like you post, JUST to shoot down suggestions.

Yeah, well, we're all bleeding from the mouth while pointyhat comes out and says it...
I'm assuming you have a legit dongle with your "copy of PREPS". If so, it'd be like having a back-hoe sitting there while you dig the hole with a pick and shovel. Download the Introductory Manual and get started.
Or, if that's too spooky...do it in InDes. Once you have it set up, Save As a Template...[.indt file], and it's there for next time.

BTW if you get used to using step and repeat and download a marks script from Adobe Studio.
|
There is one in Adobe Studio called Print Tools. It is now a resident pallette on my InDes desktop. Can't live without it. Free.
