Batch file find / copy

I have been getting a lot of requests for images (tiffs, psd's etc.) from different divisons of our company. Some of these lists are 100 to 300 images. Is there any software that I can use to drop a text file into and have the software search for all the images in the list.

Do you get the list as a text file or a printed sheet?

If you get a text file, have you tried to copy/paste the text file into a "Find" window to see if that does what you're looking for?

If you have CS3, try using the Bridge.

UPDATE:
I checked my CS3 bridge and it doesn't work on a list either.

I did check on doing a command f (find) and you can do a multiple find, just not off an imported list.

Are you searching on a server or a local Mac/PC?

Are the images you're searching for all in the same location, as in an image database, or are they sprinkled around in various jobs on your server

I'm thinking you could use sort of image management/catalog tool.

You could try this:
http://www.canto.com/main_menu/produ...us/cumulus.php

We've used this in the past, I think it can use a list/text file for a search according to the web site. You may want to read up on it more than I did.

sorry, not much help,
David
