Is there any free imposition software out there, or something that is a plug in to Indesign? Not free as in illegal, but shareware or something like that, thanks!

There is a plugin for Indy but I think it's around 400 bucks. I've never run across free Impo software. But there are some cheap prices out there.

Try Cute PDF, it is inexpensive and does both booklet and N-up.

If you have VERY simple impo needs, try InBooklet SE that comes bundled with InDesign. It does not have N-up capabilities, but works for quick 2-ups.
