new to the site
Hi,
My name is Rob and I am a printaholic. Its been 4hours since my last cleanup. Any way, I have a small shop in northern IL. we run a heidelberg prosetter 74 and prinect/metadimension. we have a sm52-4h , sm74-2p, 2 qm46. Thanks for listening.

New to the site
Hello all,
My name Chris Jones and I have stumbled onto this site. I was having some problems in prepress and viola here this is. I have learned alot just reading the many who post their problems and solutions
I am primarily an Web Pressman. But have branched into prepress about 7 years ago. I started in prepress with shooting paste-up boards. Now we are outputting to two imagesetters.
We use an harlequin RIP and ECRM 36 and 45 machines.
Thanks so much for the professional forum. and also thanks for the humor.

Hello all,
My name is Tracie and I'm an Art Director for a printing company in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. I design as well as prepress. I have been in this industry for 6 years and have been with this company for 2 1/2.
I came across the site by accident, I was having a problem with Quark 7 and Prinergy, the bleed issue, which I now understand Kodak is working on. Thanks to this site I now know

Ah, well, this post is in "General Prepress" for instance, but there's many other "rooms" like "pressroom, Quark, fonts, rant/rave/vent... and the lounge"
The lounge is non-defined and less business-like, share personal stories and jokes, etc....
So view "Prepress forums"
then scroll down and see the different rooms, even post that Quark question in the Quark forum.
