For prepress folks, you'll understand. Today has been ONE OF THOSE DAYS!! I am about 3 inches from killing someone or punching someone in the face, or worse..
if youre refering to my total post count dropping in recent weeks, its because of the primus board.

Hello
I'm new here, and I wanted to say hi. I've recently graduated from Eastfield in Digital Imaging Technology, and I'm starting work. My husband is stationed in Denver, he's a programmer for Raytheon, but normally we're in Dallas, TX.
I hope everyone has a great day, and take care.

Well, I am not actually a new member - I've been on this forum for a while now... but I never got around to introducing myself, and I just wanted to do that now.
I am a recent grad (2003) from Penn State University. I started working in a digital printshop, and I've been here ever since. When I started out I was a production artist, prepping jobs for large format, and I've since moved up to Art Director.
Under my jurisdiciton, I have instated a color managed workflow. I have purchased two additional printers, and one additional Mac, and three brand new Macs. I've been spending, spending!! Really, though, I try to be very progressive in new product management, and keeping up with technology.
One benefit of my position is that I don't have to deal with press headaches. I proof and print final output to one HP 3000, two HP 5500s, and coming soon one HP Z6100. We take this paper print, and embed it in a liquid fiberglass/resin compound, to create a hard, durable, outdoor sign, with a 10 year warranty. Our paper is custom made, along with the inkjet coating - both of which I've done all the R&D for.
I am hoping to post more often and become a benefit to these message boards, instead of always posting my problems!! I look forward to getting to know more of you.
My name is Jon.
