Welcome Carter. If it is knowledge you seek to better your position in your career, grabbing a job in prepress will certainly teach you. Although it may strap you down and electricute you occationally too. :twisted: Have fun, enjoy the thorough amounts of knowledge within these here forums, and stop on by the lounge and have beer. I think we all drink once working for the dark side. :twisted:

hi,
I'm Kevin Barun from Malta.
Started in prepress in 1996, 3 years after moved to a design studio as a junior designer and Prepress operator, and the last 2 years moved again to prepress, using Agfa software and machines to the full
Right now addicted to ApogeeX.

Phil Livingston, So Cal. 15 years pre-press. Currently using Rampage/Preps Workflow (1yr). Used Agfa Apogee Workflow previous to that.

hey Phil, welcome.. It can get a little drunk in here on fridays, so dont pay us any mind... :P other than the occational spout off at the mouth battle between me and peon, it can be pretty sweet here, pull up a stool, grab a drink and get to know everybody... :fro: we're all here to benefit from each other's knowledge and experience.
