hi all, Ive been lurking around for a bit, thought i'd say hi. when I'm at work(mom and pop shop, takin a break from real jobs :P ) i like to read here and feel the wub from my comrads.

I've been in electronic prepress for 13 yrs, with a yr of conventional platemaking in my late teens before college and this great career :roll:

I've worked with Scitex/Screen film based systems, Rampage/Creo thermals, some odd Cymbolic Sciences contraption/rampage, Fuji setters, Nexpress(when it was Heidelberg) and am currently working with the Prinect system (pfft... owns, too bad the techs are pricks 8O ) and I'll try to contribute and try not be too annoying 8)


and this being an intro, if i mispell anything, misword anything, don't have appropriate punctuation....and you feel the need to correct me, please believe me when i say it gives me great joy in NOT CARING lol :clap:

Morning Mikie and welcome to the club!

We don't discount for misspelling here, it's just another form of amusement. Some do it on purpose just to get attention.

For the most part we just sit around and chat, have a few drinks, and laugh at all the people (customers, coworkers, and owners) that make all this fun possible.

And being annoying is a good trait, you'll fit right in.

Hello uall.

I currently run a electronic prepress department in Central Fl. We are a sheetfed shop and all Heidelberg shop. Our prepress is a Delta workflow feeding a Topsetter 74. I some times think I have seen it all in printing, been around printing way to long, then something comes up every day and I say wow that is new to me. I have enjoyed reading the posts and think it is time I should contribute a little bit.
