Help! Preps preview gone...

Hello I am running Preps 5.0.3 on OSX 10.3.9 and All of a sudden out of nowhere, when we try to look at the preview window ( command - E ) we get a progress bar that comes up and will not go away. We have to force quit and we are not able to see a preview of our job before we print to post script. The PRINT STATUS window says... "checking to make sure the required files are available" and just stays there.... It prints fine. All of the files are there just no preview. Any help would be great. Thanks, Alan Thompson

Try tossing your prep's preferences in the trash and then reboot.

I've asked Creo many questions reguarding Preps. They have no clue.
You could try the upgrade 5.0.4
Try importing a .ps file, if you aren't already.

Just re-booting works for me when this happens. The latest upgrade is 5.1.4 which I just installed and I haven't had this happen on this version yet.

I had this issue with 4 for OS9. The new Creo Kodak support blows. I ended up clearing caches and doing running disk repair.

Thanks for all of your help. I did get someone from Creo/Kodak that knows Preps. ( Curt ) He also suggested to upgrade to 5.1.4. I am using Nexus workflow so I called them to see if the upgrade is OK. Nexus said to go for it.....So here I go..Alan
