Have a 4C Catalog with 1C price layers, need 1C layers trans

I need to make the 1C layers transparent. My current workflow is like this, Save to File from Quark, drag postscript to Hotfolder on Scitex Brisque to make tiffit. Obviously, I get a white background. I've tried opening up the FP in Presstouch and selecting the white background, naming it a new color and selecting transparency, saving it. Then viewed in on the Brisque..and saw 12/12/12/12 T (transparent), took it into AdCheck..and it's a white background. Sent it to the printer..it's a no go. I know they print digital to press...would think you could double burn Black plate. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely
Bill White
