Excel file fractions

Got an Excel document I need to PDF and place into InDesign. It will PDF but all the fractions PDF as underlines. It also previews that way in Excel.
I tried to change the PDF font with PSP to Bembo expert but PSP says it can't find the font outline? The font outline is with the font preview as these are T1 fonts known to work from all other applications. I even tried to change the font in Excel but I get the same underline instead of the fraction. Anyone got any ideas how to get this thing to work?

best bet may be to try to open the PDF in Illustrator and remake the fractions. Not fun or pretty but should work.

I know I can do it that way but way to time consuming. I had to do this same job last year in Ai. It worked but there are a lot of fractions on 28 pages. I sent it to a friend who has a PC to see if he could make a PDF with the fractions. Hope to hell it works.

I think what your going to find is that the fractions Excel makes are not based on a font. (like helvetica mathmatical) so any time the ps stream needs to read the outline font it's not going to find it.

Thats what I was afraid of. Funny that PSP sees it as a font but will not replace it with Bembo expert. That would be TOO easy I guess.
Thanks,
MJK
