Please critique my resume! Any and all opinions welcome...

http://prepresspro.wordpress.com/

Moving to Seattle early summer of 08.

Taking a trip out to Seatlle mid August, would like to set up some informational interviews while I'm out there.

First step is shining up the resume.

Please let me know what you all think!

Thanks!

Let me know if I'm out of line but would you mind posting that File Submission guide? I know I'm trying to come up with a guide for our customers and I'm sure others are as well. I'm not looking to steal your work, in fact I'd be more than willing to post what I have. Maybe others would want to do the same. I'd imagine it would only make life easier for everyone involved if we can see what our fellow prepress friends have for submission issues/requirements...

Hey Faster,

I said I'd reply later and I am. I'm UK if you did't know and it's 10 pm, had to pull a late one. Apologies for not helping right now. PM me if you want and I'll help if I can.

Jezza

PS I've bored all the members to death with tales of how many people I've hired in the past. I'd like tp think I can help with content and perhaps some wordpress tips. You call it.

If you are applying for a Prepress Manager position, go heavier on the Technical and Managerial skills and less on the graphic artist style that the resume is oozing in.

If a company is looking for a PP Manager, they are probably struggling with either an about to be fired manager or someone who has or is about to quit. They will want someone who can come in and take over without any technical or managerial training. No one will hire a graphic artist for this position. At least no one you would want to work for.

***edit***

Don't leave out your Graphic Arts experience, use it as a "I can walk the customers through anything because I have been there" portion of the resume. That is something people will see as a positive for the position.
