4 color sheet with paint chips attached

I have a job that needs some paint chips attached. I've seen this type of thing before but I can't find anyone who mentions it as a type of service they offer. Does anyone know where I can get something like this?

Thanks!

paint chips, can you be more specific than that? are you talking about printing spot colors on a something, or do you have actual paint chips (like for painting the inside or outside of a house) that need to be affixed to something?

4 color sheet with paint chips attached

If you've seen the paint chip samples in a brochure for a new car. They are actual paint samples that have been attached. These paint chips are for fiberglass paint.

How are the affixed? With glue, staples or what? It sounds like you need a hand job (pardon the pun). This is something we do here on occation. What type of quantity are you doing? Is it a preprinted job where you basically take the preprinted sheet, and then affix the paint sample to it? What is the paint sample printed on?

Sorry to ask so many questions, but on odd-ball stuff like this you gotta know exactly what your getting into.

I was actually looking for someone that could do all of it. Take an industry paint color code, make the samples and attach them to a pre-printed sheet. The quantity would be in the neighborhood of 10,000

well, why not print it all together and do the paint chips as spot colors? then you could perf the areas of the spot colors, so the client can tear them out. If that doesn't work you can always find someone with a indigo (like us) that can print on clear acrylic and then glue it to the printed sheet (like they do with credit card offers). where abouts are you? this is something we can do.

mornin' beth!

no, no, no...

'ritas are wayyyyy too valuable to be swapped for some cheap printin' !

Actually, we used to have our paint chips "tipped-on" (affixed with glue to the printed substrate). We now have a patented process that we do that is a combination of special mixed inks, some UV for shininess, and some other goodies that when printed, give the feel and appearance of a glued on paint chip.
I, cannot remember where we used to have the chips made, it's been a while, I think it was in New Mexico or Arizona, can't remember which, and a Google search comes up empty handed.

sorry, no help here,
David

Thanks everyone. My customer has decided to go with a process job instead of the paint chip idea. I appreciate al you help and input though.
