There are also many features i've wanted to incorporate into the site, but just didn't have the resources or ability to do. Combining the resources makes these things a possibility.

I understand, and actually (though it may not sound like it) I do support you for the decision. Anyone of us would have done the same given the opportunity.

I think, and many other may be feeling the same, it's going to be like a remake of an old movie. They are just never as good as the original. There's also the concern that while your in charge of the forums, your no longer the big cheese and someone else has the chance to get a hair across their behind and call the punches. While you've had that power on PPF, you are fair, easy going, and an all round good guy. With the experiance some of us have already had over there it's very unverving.

I don't post much here anymore but still read a bit. Lemme just say going to the other forum right now makes my stomach churn. Cory, I pray you will loosen their ties over there or I have a feeling it's going to be a dominance battle between the two groups.
PPF is awesome and you have a large following here. I'm afraid you may lose a bit of that. But hey, I've been wrong before...

This is very dissapointing news I must say. I've been coming in here for uh, I guess about 6 years. Even though i work in a field with constant change, I must admit that I take change VERY badly when it comes to people, etc.

Hopefully it will all work out but right now I'm feeling quite bad about this.
