questions for packedge 5

i'm working with stand alone packedge 5.0
my questions is
1-why sometimes after i do trapping when save the file as native pdf format with outright plugin i don't see file in acrobat correctly ?
2-when i try open pdf files in packedge i got this meesage "not normalized pdf plz normalize" i have standalone version without backstage module how can i solve this problem ?
3-when i open ps composite file with transparancy packedge convert it to many piece of bitmaps anyway it's give best results to keep this as it or using image composer to reduce the bitmaps but i see pixelize bitmaps when i use ..

thanks

hi levont;

1- I don't know because i don't use PDF Scope file format. After Software Suite 7 may be.

2- "PDF Scope" format and normal PDF file format different things. You must choose "PDF File" in file open dialog box not "PDF Scope File"

3- For transparency and other complex documents use EPF file format in Illustrator.

1. Question - do you have "overprint preview" turned on in Acrobat?
and also, you may want to "export to PDF" in Pilot instead of "save as" from Packedge.

2. This is the message you will get if the file is not normalized for Esko.
You should use Pilot to normalize all PDF files, unless you have a license to do it in Packedge.

3. It's not possible to have a .ps file with transparency. Postscript does not support transparency (only PDF v1.4 and above). From what are you making your .ps file? Indesign, Quark, other?
