Exporting from Packedge 2 to Artpro

I have a freelance prepress business using Packedge Ver2, and recently had a (possible future) client ask about working with me.

His shop uses Artpro, and he's wanting to know how easily files will transfer between the two platforms.

Was wondering if anyone out there has both Esko and Artpro equipment, and can offer any advice...or what problems that I could potentially run into.

I know that the newer versions of Packedge support better PDF exporting, but upgrading to a newer version of Packedge for me right now is not an option. $$$$$$$$$!!

I'm thinking that the only option I have is to export out of Packedge 2 as an Illustrator 8 file, open the file in Illustrator CS and save out as an Illustrator CS ai file. I'm worried that could also open up a can of worms itself.

The EPF export option is not possible for me, it's only supported in Packedge 3 and above.

Your best export format would be separated postscript from Packedge.
