Pitstop 7.2 bug?

The action list window becomes greyed out when you run an Acrobat preflight. The only way to fix this for me is to restart Acrobat.

This doesn't happen on my Acrobat 7/Pitstop 7.2 setup.

sorry, should have been more specific:

Acrobat 8.1 on OS X 10.4.10

Here's how I can reproduce it everytime:

fire up Acrobat, then open the Action List panel so PitStop is intialized. Then close the Action List.
Next run the Acrobat Preflight under Print Production and execute a Preflight profile. When it's done, open the Action List again. It shows up as being greyed out with no profiles for me until I restart Acrobat.

Okay...I just tried it on an Intel iMac running OS 10.4.10, Acrobat 8.1, and Pitstop 7.2. I could not replicate your problem. The action list worked just fine after running an Acrobat preflight. I used your exact list to try to reproduce it. Are you on an Intel or PPC machine?

1.6 gz PPC

I'm wondering if it's this machine or a memory leak or something because of recent sluggishness. I've been watching the memory in the activity montior and right now Acrobat has 554 mb allocated for virtual memory (!?) while only using 64 mb of RAM.

I removed CS3 from my 1.6 gHz PPC because I could not get Adobe Update to work so I can't test it on that machine at the moment. When I get a chance I'm going to try re-installing it and I'll see if it does it on the PPC. (Probably Thursday evening) When I did have it installed Adobe Update would crash Acrobat 8. I updated it to 8.1 manually and everytime after that when I launched Acrobat 8.1 it would crash soon thereafter. Sometime I could open a PDF before it would crash. Sometimes not. Maybe there is something wrong with the PPC side of CS3?

no worries.

I've got 2 fresh dual core Intel Macs I started loading software for last week. With all this over-done license transfer/activation/jumping through hoops bs, I could hopefully be finished sometime before the end of the year

Thanks for the looking into it.

If I'm not mistaken this was a bug in 7.0 and fixed in version 7.1. Maybe it's 7.1 and 7.2, but definitely fixed in 7.2!

gig0, what version are you running? I would suggest updating to 7.2. Installer on the Enfocus website.

Cheers
