Pitstop won't create report

I've been running the 30 day trial of pitstop and everything was fine for about 2 weeks then out of no where it decided to stop creating a report after running preflight. I have tried to manually create it by hitting the "show report" button but all that does is crash Acrobat. It shouldn't have anything to do with the trial version cause I still have 12 days left on my trial. Anyone had this problem or have any suggestions. I'm running on mac OS 10.3.9 with Acrobat Pro 7.0.9

Could be OS 10.3.9. I never ran version 7 on it.

That would have been my first guess too but it ran fine for 2 weeks. I haven't installed any new software or updates since. It is quite possible that my system is just a mess and doing weird things but I wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar problem.

bizz0ris,

What version of Pitstop are you using? 7.2? That's the latest one. I've heard about this problem before. Maybe they've fixed something in the latest version.

It had to do with the font used in the template that pitstop uses. Maybe you can try using one of the other default templates? You can choose them in the navigator tool.

Also you can get try deleting the file 'PitstopFontinfo.dat' in your user library. This is created the first time pitstop launches and holds all font refererences. Deleting it will force pitstop to create a new one. If you've done changes to your fonts, this could help.

Good luck.

Awesome. That seemed to work. Thanks! As far as the version the trial I'm running is 7.0.2. I assumed I had the newest version from enfocus because I'm researching to buy. How long ago did 7.2 release?

Glad it worked. It was just a guess...
If I remember correctly 7.2 was released about 2 months ago... I suggest that you regularly take a look on the Enfocus website.

Also it seems that Enfocus Support announces all releases on the Unofficial Artwork Systems usergroup Matt's created www.artworksusergroup.com - Home

Cheers
