Anybody Using Neo?

We had an Artwork Systems rep stop in last week to give a dog & pony show on Neo; seemed impressive, but wondering if anybody has actually purchased it and cares to share their impression of it.

There is a free 30 day trial you can download from the Enfocus site, and we're playing with it a bit. The interface isn't terribly intuitive, which makes a trial run like this a real trial (not much documentation came with it). It does make editing pdf's pretty easy. Rather than going back to the originating app to fix something in a pdf, you just fix it in Neo, save it, and it works.

Anybody?

Yeah, I use it. It's a great program especially if you get the one with trapping. Love the text and image tools. Kind of pricey though.

Nope, but you can use it to make gold!

It's just a very powerful tool, on par in many ways with ArtPro, which sells for about 4 times that. Yet Neo can do many tricks that ArtPro cannot. Give it a try; 30 days free, and it's not hobbled in any way other than a demo warning when you fire it up.

Neo is great. Detric1 and MacDevin can "testify" also.

Why buy from some AWS guy when you can buy from me?

By the way you should listen to Detric1 and I talk about it on our latest podcast for the artworkusersgroup. You can find it on iTunes. Just search for "Dave krawczuk"

I saw a demo of Neo and downloaded the 30 day trial of course (always nice to have a full featured demo version).

Trapping for us isn't necessary in this step, so it was great to see that, at least on the Enfocus side, there is a version without trapping as well. Which costs less, i think it was around 3000. This is still not cheap, but it has some terrific features that can make ROI quite attractive.

Text editing is crazy, never seen this before in a PDF editor. Object and image editing is cool and great to use.

Check it out! The demo version is for free!

Cheers

OK, I missed the shot completely. I did some digging and the version without adds up to USD 4500.

Sorry for the mishap.

Cheers.
