running action in Pitstop 7

We just had our one copy of Pitstop updated from version 6 to 7. I am tryig to create a new action list item that will select the a spot color in the PDF and remove it. Basically these are textbook PDFs with annos in a spot for the teacher edition book. I need to remove the annos. in Pitstop 6 I was able to create an action that selected anything that was using the spot color and the delete it.

I have the new action created, selecting the spot color for both fill and stroke from the repository/document colors. The next step is simply "remove selected". Unfortunately, it's not working. It doesn't appear to actually be selecting anything. I'm not getting any errors in the log, but nothing's happening to the text or items that are created in the spot color.

Turns out in the "selection" list, there is one specifically called "select spot color" which works fine for me. Why "select color" with the spot color specified didn't work is beyond me, but...

Hi Jimlin,

when highlighting both the fill and stroke option in the 'Select color' action, you'll only select object that have the fill color and the stroke color you've suggested in the action at the same time.
If you want to select all objects with fill spot color and all objects with a stroke spot color, it's better to use an operator:

Select fill color
Select stroke color
OR
remove selection.

So it's kinda logical that you weren't selecting anything.

Of course if you were intending to select object with a fill and stroke color at the same time, that's a different story...
