Uh, PitStop 7.0 was and is the only release compatible with Acrobat 8.

I'll second that.

The current PitStop 7.1 works fine in Acrobat 8 on my intel machine.

Can you elaborate on the issues you had?

Cheers

It does not appear on the tool bars of Acrobat 8. We only use Pitstop 7.01 because 7.1 is having problems with our other plug-ins.

Windows or Mac? PowerPC or Intel? Update or fresh install?

Have you tried moving the prefs folder to your desktop?
Both the Enfocus Prefs folder in your root library and user library folder?

Acrobat only allows Certified plug-ins? You can check this in the acrobat prefs

The enfocus toolbars aren't activated? In View menu --> Toolbars

Cheers

can you also elaborate on other plug-ins that interfere? Can be useful for others.

Cheers

We use Intel Core2 Duo iMac. OSX V.10.4.9, 2.16 GHz, 3 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM.

The other plug-in we use are the Quite Plug-ins (Quite Imposing Plus, Quite a box of tricks, Quite Revealing)

We've tried everything, does it work flawless in Acrobat 8? No bugs?

No software is flawless...

Make sure that the other plug-ins are up to date as well as Acrobat.

Make sure that the /Library/Enfocus Prefs folder and the ~/Library/Enfocus Prefs folders are *both* in Spotlights ignore list.

Try disabling the Quite plug-ins to make sure PitStop is working properly itself.
