nocampo, you might have to throw some more detail before you get some helpful answers.
Do you mean your image dimensions are OK, including trim size(trim box), and bleed size, (bleed box)? Do you mean that there is a large white area all round that's causing you trouble?. Maybe when you're trying to place it in an imposition app?
If that's what's bothering you, then PitStop Pro can enable you to crop the Media box. In this case, possibly the border of your "page", I'm guessing. Go into the Help/Manual in PitStop and search "Crop Media Box"...[I'm at home so can't jump in there myself, this minute].
You'll be doing it with the Crop dialogue box/ Crop Tool, but it's gotta be the Media Box you're cropping. When you do this you are really "dumping" any info/image outside that area. When placing the PDF, that will be the new Media box that will be recognised.
I suspect similar time-zones have made me the first post, but if you can put more info here soon, you will get better answers. Good luck.

I think I speak for most when I say, It's ok to PLACE and STRETCH in InDesign. I know what you are asking, but there are other ways to address this. Most PDF workflows allow minor (major) adjustments to size along the way...
