PitStop Pro error code "SaAcDb_3"

Whenever I try to create or edit an action list, I get the following error: "An unknown error occurred in Enfocus PitStop Professional. Please contact support@enfocus.com and mention the error code "SaAcDb_3".

I am using the following:

Acrobat Professional 6.0.4
PitStop Professional 6.51
Mac OSX 10.4.7

Anyone know what this error is? I emailed Enfocus, but I figured someone here might know what to do about it.

Well, hats off tto Enfocus for speedy response. In the time it took me to post, they emailed me back with the following:

Quote:
The error SaAcDb_3 points to a problem with your Action List database. This
can be caused by different reasons :

1. The user you’re logged in with has limited permissions and therefore can
not read and write in a specific Enfocus folder. That folder is called
“Enfocus Prefs Folder” and is located in HD:Library:Preferences:Enfocus
Prefs Folder. So please check whether it's got Read & Write permissions for
ALL users (check within DETAILS as well) and adapt where necessary.

2. The Action List database file itself has limited permissions., f.i. Read
Only, but we need Read & Write. This database file is called "PitStop 4
Actionlist DB.pdf" and is located in HD:Library:Preferences:Enfocus Prefs
Folder.

3. The Action List database file has become corrupt. The only thing you can
do then is to remove this database file and reinstall the software so you
end up with a completely new database. Please check first if it is still
possible to export your customized action lists so that later you can import
them again. Then go the the Enfocus Prefs Folder located in
HD:Library:Preferences:Enfocus Prefs Folder and remove the file called
“PitStop 4 Actionlist DB.pdf". Make sure you empty the recycle bin. Then
reinstall PitStop Professional.

4. Your system has got more than 1 user. Logging in as another user can
change Read & Write permissions to Read Only on certain files and folders
and then the database cannot be accessed as it should. This is an OSX
problem for which we've contacted Apple asking to fix this. The only thing
you can do is the moment you log in with another user is always first adapt
the permissions as explained in 1.
I'll give these suggestions a try - perhaps on Monday. Too close to the end of the day now to mess with it!

Using Acrobat 7.08 with Pitstop 6.51. I started getting the error when I had to upgrade to Tiger (damn Quark 7), usually when I quit Acrobat. Just been living with it so far. Let me know if you find out anything. Thanks.
