Is it possible to remove seperations through Pitstop (you can view the seperations under output preview)? Right now I just select similar... but it would be nice if there was an easier way.

Remove separations? Separations are an end product not a part of a PDF.
I'm guessing you mean process images? If you want to remove them you can just use the export images in Acrobat then delete them from each page.
Or use a PitStop action like Scrubber if you don't need the images.

Well maybe he wants to remove a fifth color black from a job or has occasion to remove Pantone plates. Yeah, you could do something like. And some other kinds of things.

Well, a lot of it is that the lingo isn't universal like one would think. Which makes things REALLY confusing.

Yeah exactly. There are a lot of times where we'll have a spot gloss, spot dull or other things in a PDF output from our workflow that we're showing PDFs as proofs. Do you know how you would go about removing one of those seperations?
