convert image to cmyk through pitstop moves image to bottom

Hi,
Has anyone experienced this weird problem? Our flightchecker is converting an image to cmyk through pitstop. The image opens in photoshop, converts to cmyk and when it comes back to the pdf, the converted image moves from its original placement to the bottom of the pdf file. Has anyone experienced thsi and if so do you know why this would be happening and have a fix for it?
Thanks!

It's a bug in Acrobat. Let PiStop do the CMYK conversion using color management.

a bug...yeah a bug to the brain bigtime.

I just had to edit a 172 page book with grayscale images where the contrast sucked and the highlight and shadows had to be fixed using acrobat 7. What a pain in the ass dragging every picture back to where it was.

A BUG? It's more like a frikken nightmare!!!!!!!

Shouldn't this have been fixed like a week after it was discovered? Adobe, I can't believe this one!!!!!

PhotoShop CS2, the 9.0.1 update fixes this problem.

It's not a PitStop bug. It is a bug with Photoshop.
