Pitstop 6 & Acrobat 7 - will it work?

Does anyone have any contacts at Enfocus to find out if Pitstop 6 will still work in Acrobat 7?

We are looking to 4 upgrades of Pitstop to 6 to match up with changing over to Acrobat 6 but now the boss has heard that Acrobat 7 is coming he is reluctant to do the upgrade.

From what i have looked at so far Acrobat 7 looks to be an update of six with more workgroup related things in it rather than a prepress oriented fix.

Anyone got any other info yet?

Thanks, Dennis Wyers

PitStop Professional almost certainly will NOT be compatible with Acrobat 7 Pro when it is released. It may take Enfocus a quarter to get a update out for it. Having said that, I would order your PitStop upgrades by calling Enfocus directly (650) 358-1210. I don't think Enfocus has made a decision as to whether or not there will be a chargable upgrade for the version compatible with Acrobat 7. You can always order your upgrades through me...

Hi BigD

We have just up graded to Acrobat 7 Pro and Pitstop 6.5 and it works fine.
Has a few new nice features in for pre-press as well.

Cheers

John
