Unable to open Index

Hi all

Working On Dynastrip 4.3 and are constantly loosing pages in my imposition, or I'll double print a page on top of a page. Error popping up on every other job, unable to open index file, or unable to read index file.

I have a call into Dynagram, but wondering if anyone else is having this problem?

Not sure about the lost pages or double printing. But you might find deleting Options.DAT from the DynaStrip Folder helps. Just make sure you've quit DynaStrip before you do that. When you launch again, your general preferences are default, but devices and marks are preserved.

Thanks for the advice, tech support had us to a complete re-install and still happening. They are still working on it.

But did you install over your old folder? Thus leaving the options.dat file in place? If so, try deleting it anyway.

Also, don't know if it will help, but I noticed 4.3.2 was released last week. Is that the version you are using?

Hi Astro:

They did have me do a complete install and trashed all dat files as well. Also I did upgrade on 3/31 to the latest version 4.3.2 because of old Dyna jobs corrupting the .dat file in 4.3.1.

At this point they thought it might me our OS9 computers that were connecting to our Nexus Mac, but we can still replicate the problem with everything off line.

It seems to be something of a permission error when it goes to relocate the links.......

Just to put my oar in one more time. Your disk permissions are all ok? And also, do you have Norton Auto Protect running? It will interfere with DynaStrip.

I've repaired more permissions than one man could ask and did not have Norton Running and Trashed Virex. It's such an odd occurence that they think it has to be something between the Nexus Mac and Dynastrip corrupting the index file.

I want 4.2 back.
