Dynastrip and Screen CTP

Was wondering . . .

Dynastrip with a Screen Platesetter. The screen uses a Trueflow software, which does not like commas in the file name.

Dynastrip, places a comma between the name of the job and the signature.

In order to load the file into Trueflow we have to manually rename each color, and each signature, removing the commas. Any ideas on how to get dynastrip to automaticly remove the comma in the name? As well as place a F or B after the sig #?

Thanks in Advance

Uh huh... Click Print, which shows the 'Output Parameters'. At the bottom of that window is 'Customise Output Name'. If you need any tips on how to best to alter that, let me know. Remember to click 'Save as Default' in the Print window when you are done. To be honest, it sounds like that's already been changed from the installed defaults?

Yes, it has been modified better to match our in shop needs. However, there is no way to get rid of that pesky comma.

Here is the Current Format:
<jobname><version>S<sheetrank><side><title>_<color ><ext>

Here is the Final name as it appears for the Screen:
301Bijou,S4B

Why did it put the comma in there? I didn't have it in the Format line. Hope you can shed some light.

Thanks in advance

Well logically it looks as though either the versions tag or the jobname tag is causing it. If you didn't purchase the versioning module, then you can remove that tag anyway. If it still does it, did you use a comma in your job name? Or perhaps a funny character that gets changed to a comma on the output? You can try removing the jobname variable too, just to see if the comma goes. Other than that, I'm out of ideas. You'd probably have to drop Dynagram an email.
