Cool License for 1 bit tiff on Celebrant?

Looked through the old stuff on here, but no luck. Does anyone know if I need a license to be able to accept a 1 bit tiff file on a Celebrant (Fuji rip ver.6.0)? I am generating a 1 bit tiff file from a new prinergy workflow to a hot folder on the Celebrant, but the file just sits there like it wants to process. Not sure if it is a license issue or just something stupid on my end. Can anyone help answer my question?

Thanks, Lost in Hollywood

Not familar with either setup but it could be that Prinergy is not creating the one bit tiff the way the Celebrant wants it. ie...packbit compression instead of LZW compression or some such setting. A licensing issue on a RIP will usually tell you about it with an error.

Exclamation I will try it!

Joe,
Thanks for your responce. I tried wht you sugjested, but no luck. All 4 colors show up in the rip que, but they just sit there waiting at 0%. Its almost as if the rip knows the files are there, but waiting for me to tell it what to do. I have changed everything I can think of in the ticket, but still no luck. And I mean the ticket on both ends, the prinergy and the Celebra.

Smile Update......

After the Tech and us operators making variouse changes to the ticket on the Celebrant side, we never re-booted the rip....... This afternoon, we couldnt get another job to the rip, so we restarted it. Lo and behold, the 1 bit tiff files started to paint to the rip. It was as simple as that. Hope we never have to go through that again.

THanks, Lost in Hollywood
