Neat tip for Kodak NP34 Processor

For those who have cursed the counter on the Kodak processor, I discovered a neat thing the other day - on ours at least.

On the counter reset switch (which really ought to be recessed) there's a small hole in the switch tab where you can slide a paperclip through to keep yourself from resetting the counter accidentally. A small keyring would also work, I suppose. This way you won't reset the processor accidentally and you'll only do it when you really need to.

We had a problem where the counter was very inaccurate and it turned out to be partially reset. I was going to cut up a plastic cover for it, but then I discovered the hole, and saved myself a lot of time and effort.

I tried capturing a picture of it but our little digital camera at work wasn't up to the task. Maybe I'll bring in my SLR to get a good shot.
