Excuse me for not responding in French (I can read and understand it but my grammer is awful)

If I had my time over I suppose I would go processless, cleaning processors out is an absolute pain as others will testify - we use AGFA Palladio & ApogeeX but all the extras you need make it expensive (imposition, in-rip trapping - even high res preview is an 'extra'). But having said that we don't regret the purchase 3 trouble free years so far.

If anybody wants to help out, here's the translation from french to english:

Hi everybody, thanks in advance for all the info I will get from this forum.
We are a web printer and will be printing a local newspaper so we're looking into getting a CTP that will rapidly produce high quality plates and allow us to do stochastic printing. We don't know what technology to use (violet or thermal) but at the same time, we wish to get "eco-friendly/green" certified.
What system could you suggest me.

Hope this helps.

You wanna more greener and greener

Hi..

Thats good to think about MOTHER EARTH..

If u want eco friendly plate's then...

You must go for Process less Thermal Plates.. or u can wait till Violet Process less Plate are available in the market.

This will minimize your pollution but not 100 %.. There are factors which influence in Printing Industry
