rich black in illustrator cs2
hello,
in illustrator the black defults its rich black, yes?
so what hapen wen i send pdf to press, are they print 4 plate color? what heppen if one of thes plate move?

Not in my Illy it isn't. Select the proper swatch and it won't be an issue.

No mate. The default black swatch is BLACK (nothing else!), I think you may be using the "registration" swatch, which is 100% of each colour used in the file ie: 100C, 100M, 100Y, 100K if a four colour process job.

I use 100% Black, 60% Cyan for rich black, may be +30% Magenta. In some situation use special black ink.

i speak whet adobe, the problem its: i have in adefult page rich black. so i ned achange in a folder of adobe to 100% black.

illustrator appearance of black
not sure if we are talking about the same thing, but...in Illustrator preferences, look for "Appearance of Black"...set to "Display All Blacks Accurately" and "Output All Blacks Accurately". As for what happens if one of the plates moves...well, now your out of registration...fun stuff!

add a white stroke to the "magenta" and set it to overprint. That should sort out any movement. You might get an error actually....... make it a black stroke. Done.

thats why i put it in "speach marks" as i didn't know how you was making up your rich black.
