Horizontal Banding on Epson 7600

Hello,

1. Is it a problem with only one particular media or all the medias? try a different media.
2. Also did any one by chance swap the Ink cartridges? I mean did any one ( unknowingly) put a wrong cartridge into a wrong color station?
3. Try shaking all the cartridges once and put it back.
4. Is your paper coated with any dust? is it an old stock? This might be a problem as it uses pigment based ink and its better to use Epson recommended paper.
5. Check for the maintenance tank, is it showing Maintenance tank low??

Ok, two obvious quewtions arise:
1) What kind of paper and printing enviroment do you have?
2) What DPI are you printing at?

At this point the problem has been resolved by the simple act of replacing the proofer with the issue(which was in the works anyway). Most likely, it just needed a tech to do a good cleaning, but thanks for all the feedback.
