Anyone uses ColorTune Pro?

Anyone uses ColorTune Pro for profile creation (press, inkjet, monitor?) Is it good? How does it compares to other solutions on the market (such as Gretag's, Monaco and so on).

Thanks!

Yes I have it, along with ProfileMaker5.07 and Monaco 4.8.
I only used ColorTune when were using ApogeeX, it seems
to be the preffered profile app of X.....

If I had my choice of one and CMYK was what I would be working with I would recommend Monaco 4.8.Although there RGB Profiles are far better than PM too.
Monaco produces much smoother separations than Profilemaker IMO.
I do like both packages though, the measure tool and Profile editor are
great in profilemaker.

So the direct answer is.....Monaco and Profilmaker are the Tops in Profile apps. You can get it done with Colortune but I didnt find it as user friendly as the others....or as good !

Since we no longer use X I havent launched colortune

ColorTune X

ColorTune 4.2 Pro (Upd1) was the last version of the first series in this brand.
Last november Agfa released ColorTuneX developped dedicated to ApogeeX mainly for proofing the first release was a Mac version, A PC version seems to be on its way.
Main feature:
- Output profiles for Proofers, Industrial Inkjet, Offset presses, N-channel profiles.
- High end GCR control (much more detailed and tailoring possible as ProfileMaker or Monaco Profile)
- Profile editing
- Device Link creation (2 and from CMYK, RGB, Gray) with exceptions and preview.
As the CMS/CMM is the same as in ApogeeX, Profiles from ColorTuneX are working in an optimal way (the so called smart CMM)
The Device links can be used to shortcut this AGFA CMM in external environments.

So certainly worth evaluating !

We're using ColorTune Pro 4.2 in conjunction with ApogeeX (just upgraded to ApogeeX 3.5). We profiled our presses and inkjet printers (rebranded 7 color Epson 9600's using pigment metallic chrome inks). We've been very happy with the color match and consistency, especially between the inkjets.
We use Profile Maker Eye One to calibrate our monitors.
