Profile Wizard for Color Management ????

Anyone using Profile Wizard Mio? Opinions or comparisons with Gretag Profile Maker would also be appreciated. Looking to profile presses, and a few Epson 9800's. Monitor profiling would be a bonus. Hardware would probably be an Eye-One from Gretag, or we will be using an existing IC-Color device.

Thanks all

Profile wizard is kind of dead, not sure when it was updated last.
Profile maker and Gretag has been bought out by X-rite and there has been no announcement on future support.

Don't tell Creodak that. It is their current color management product.

For the most part it's getting us where we need to be.
I'm sure there's better.
I'm not the guy working with it, but I know of it.

Sure there is better! PerfX Color Management Pro™ from TGLC inc.

It’s a professional color profiling software, made for the high end color repro.
It is developped in Canada by TGLC inc., a software deveolper dedicated to cclor management and color control solutions.
The core engine uses artificial intelligence for color LUT interpolation. Very smooth color transition.
feel free to ask question about it!

ProfileMaker Pro and PROFILER from Monaco are both excellent products. Now that the smoothing engine in ProfileMaker is on par with PROFILER, it's my product of choice. Hopefully with the merger, ProfileMaker Pro (or whatever it will be called in the future) and the good bits in PROFILER will merge to produce a pretty awesome product. I like the ability in PMP to measure a light source with the EyeOne and build that into a profile (rather than assuming D50). The Colorful option builds really nice snappy profiles. It also accounts for optical brighteners and does so really well so there's no reason to worry about UV filtration on your Spectrophotometer. A lot of smarts in the package. What I like about PROFILER is both pre and post linearization (ProfileMaker Pro only has Post).
