Word on the street is that the Artpro interface will become more like Neo -which does have a few nice touches to be fair. But they just shouldn't mess with Artpro!

May I ask what issues you had with user friendliness? We are considering WebWay versus Dalim Dialogue and user friendliness is a large part of our decision making. I personally like the way WebWay works, but our customers are obviously often non-technical people.

Artworks is not known for their user friendliness. Their UI has very little thought into how humans work. Just to be fair many other software from many other vendors have the same lack of UI.

My thought is Webway is still too new and not a lot of work has gone into it.
They do have a SDK that would allow you to take it beyond, but it can be long road.

Dalim Dialogue does have a better UI.

Commercial.

How is Webway working for you? We just installed a 60 day trial and I'm comfortable, so far, but there's a big learning curve for our clients. Are you or you clients using WebDAV?

I have my Win 2000 server setup as a WebDAV server for sharing iCal calendars. Not using it for Webway though.

Talking Artwork Systems - Odystar

I'l just like to post that we use Odystar, workflow and RIP - Its fantastic - Tonnes better than Fuji/Agfa/Creo solutions... It gets the job done and FAST.. we have increased our throughput at least 300% throught the studio, including an extra £1.5 million customer per year without any more staff....
