Wink

Just checking, I've heard people lump all kinds of work under commercial.

Mainly Packaging but I have used it for some commercial work. I remember we used to do a small local magazine using preps and couldn't wait to do it in AP.

We're commercial/packaging. We've used AP for about 7 years. I absolutely love AP and wish Neo was more like Artpro. We just got Total PDF and are switching to using Neo as our editor.

Thumbs up

We installed webway 18 months ago and shut it down due to speed and user friendliness. After talking to Artworks and seeing there lastest updates to it we will be using it again when we upgrade to Nexus total PDF.

It is the Nexus PDF Workflow. PDF in, trapped, imposed, separated, all without flattening, and then screened.

With the nexus pdf workflow - how quickly does it screen the final files?

Sheetfed

I've had slow results with the screening. I was hoping 8.5 would change, but I can't get my CIP3 module to work with 8.5. Everything up to that point seems very positive.

Anywhere from 2 - 4 times slower than using the Nexus high res CT/LW. That was back about 8.2 somewhere so it could be faster now. Haven't tried it in the newer versions.
