Multiple Dongles 8.5.1

We just upgraded to Nexus 8.5.1. We have multiple dongles, one for Nexus Edit - the other for PowerLayout. Since our upgrade we cannot leave both dongles plugged in at the same time. I called support - they confirmed their solution is to switch dongles. Any other ideas?

im assuming that the dongles are connecting to the LPT port? Try installing a LPT PCI card and hook a dongle up to the new card and see if it works. The cards should be about $20 or less.

yup we are having the exact same problem. we are running of a mac server and can't have the neo dongle and nexus dongle plugged in at the same time.

I think I read in their support docs to try to have the nexus dongle be the first on the chain (see where it comes up in dongle viewer).

It's apparently a dongle issue and will be resolved soon.

Beside the multiple dongle problem, the Nexus Edit dongle does not work in Panther. I heard back from support. Nexus 8.5 is only supported in 10.4.x and later. They say things might work in Panther. Some might not. Good luck.

There is also a color management issue in Import WF's. It does not work. They have logged it with development.

I see a rev 2 in the near future.
