Moving an Image within a clipping path

Does anybody know of a way to move a image that is clipped?
I have an image that has lots of image area beyond the clipping path
and I want to move the image only and leave the clipping path where it is.

Thanks :?

moving image

Hi,

you could either select the image and by using the 'move paint' option, and move the image visually

or

by changing the coordinate in the paint style box and selecting modify not apply

hope this is of help

regards

Or better still use the transform palette and turn off apply on path then you can either move it, scale it using the options in there or by using the normal move tool.

Just remember to reset the palette before you start and then reset after you have finished otherwise later you will try to move something and only the paint style will move.

So did I at first, or they could just be using Edit, they would have less options then. Or they could be using illy or something else.
