Automatic trapping vs Interactive

it's better you listen to your master! i'm using arpro since v 2.5 and using the traditional interactive trapping.....we did not used autotrap for our jobs. imagine if you have million of boxes and you will gamble your job using auto trapping. if you have garbage job you can use autotrap...you need to check alway if spread or chock and depend on color sequence your trapping is.

i suggest you to use interactive trapping

Bah! I've been using AP since 3 something and have never used interactive, in fact, since I started my new job I have been trying to use it (interactive) to fit in but have since said to h@ll with it since interactive is to limiting (IMHO).

I suppose it's all about what you are used to.

I prefer auto trapping, it does very well with tints, what it does to images is when it traps to the images, it creates .tiffs or CT with the trap color and in turn makes for a larger file but it really depends on what you're working with, interactive won't do that, it just make the trap color transparent....
