Artpro 8.2 Rev 2

We just purchased a new 20" IMAC with the dual core intel chip. For some reason we can't set stype in Artpro. I can type, but nothing appears. Any ideas? It is actually typing because I can save it and open it on another computer and the type is there.

The last thing I knew is Artpro and everything else Artworks makes at this time does not support the Intel Chip. So with that in mind, does it work fine on a RISC based computer (G4 or G5).

On the Artwork Systems download center ...

This message can be found on the Artwork Systems website (download pages).

In conjuction with the release of Apple's Intel based Mac, Artwork Systems is currently updating its entire product range in order to be fully compatible with this new hardware platform. These new product versions are expected to rollout as they become available before the end of this year.

ArtPro 8.3, the upcoming release of the ArtPro software, which is expected to release in June, will run under Rosetta. Speed tests for running ArtPro 8.3 under Rosetta on todays fastest Intel-based iMac show time penalties of around 50% compared to the existing G5 (dual 2 GHz processor)workstation.
