Prinect.....

Can anyone who is using a Nexus rip with Heidelberg CTP, tell me about the efficiency. We are close to purchasing their Prinect......but are still considering Screen's machines.

Prinect..? Is a workflow.
The Prosetter is a CtP device, is that what you mean?

Yeah.....sorry...I've a ton of paper work....and I'm in a big hurry.

I know my Nexus flow well....and I don't want to switch.....

Yeah, the prosetter is what we are probably buying. I would like to get some advice from anyone who uses a Nexus workflow with a metashooter and a prosetter.

I have calibrations to consider, etc. I just would like to hear it straight from some who uses this proposed setup..

That's what I thought...
Regarding the Prosetter, it is a Rock Solid device.
Don't know about sending from Nexus. I don't see why it would be a problem tho. Should be pretty simple, calibrations and all.

We do not use a proofsetter to make our plates but we do use a trendsetter which is basically the same thing. We also send files to plate from Nexus. I'm not an expert but going by what some of the experts here at our company say it works great.
