I am using nexus 8 and symphony at the moment. How do i create a curve to bring my platesetter linear and add a pull back on top of this? Do i create 2 curves and apply them in different areas in the assembler?

You could use one, but this can make things much harder down the road.

First make a curve to bring your plate back to linear.
Then you can make your bump or cutback cruves.

Then you will apply both to the assembler. This way when you check to see if yor printing linear you only need to ajust one curve.
