Has anyone found ArtPro 8.0 (rev3) to be full of bugs?!

We have been waiting for ArtPro 8.0 for sometime now for the use of blend modes etc but there are so many bugs.

Overall, it is just SOOOO much slower and i'm on a Dual 2Ghz G5 with 1Gb RAM.

Some jobs refuse to print, just freeze after the first separation. Crop marks with rotated link files in S&R Tabular are incorrect. Clip to borders with a hidden layer corrupts the hidden layer when it shouldbe left untouched??

In addition... I will add that the blend modes are fantastic and I now could not live without them!

What experiences do other users have with ArtPro 8.0

sorry, but if you want artpro 8 you must download it from their download centre.

Each copy will only work with your registered dongle so you cant just take someone else's copy anyway.

Have you upgraded to 8 REV 3? much more stable.

If you are wondering why it is slow to open, I know HASP dongles can be purchased to upgrade your microguard dongle and are much faster.

I have the same mac config and am running very fast once it opens.

I have seen errors with rotating link one ups but that is going to a creo rip

Upgraded to rev3 last week and yes, it does seem better. Still the same bugs with clipping though.

I already have the HASP dongle but the other macs dont, that will explain why theirs is so much slower to open.
