making hot folders

i know this will seem like a moranic question, but can someone tell me how to make a hotfolder and direct it's location?
i can make a hotfolder and let it be placed in the default location which is on Nexus_mac > Nexus 8 > Rip Data >PS files. but if i try to direct the location using the browser button i get a spooler folder instead of the WF hot folder, and then the spooler gobbles up all the other WF hotfolders thinking they are jobs to run (which is why i now need to make all new hot folders for my WF's).

That is not a moronic question. I'm using 7.5 so I'm not sure it's exactly the same as 8, but I'll try.
1) Go to the Monitors Tab, click on the Add Hotfolder button
2) select your workflow you want the hotfolder for from the pull down tab
3) click the browse button on the right side of that pull down tab and select a folder that you have already created somehwere outside your rip folder. For example, ours goes to "E:/Nexus_Hotfolders/Nexus_Worflow_HF".
4) Drag files in there and within 10 seconds or however long you tell the hot folder to wait, it should show up in that jobs tab.

And you are all done! Now go get a soda, put your feet up, relax and watch your jobs print! (I hope)
