Nexus RIP for Scitex Imagesetter

We have an old Scitex Dolev 800V. Does anybody know if Nexus RIP will work with old imagesetter. We want to keep using it as a spare in case of we ran into problem with the new platesetter. Thanks.

There is an option within Nexus RIP to assemble separations for a Scitex Dolev 800 series.

Back in 2000, we configured our then PageFlow system to generate 1-bit TIFFs, then use a Xitron Raster Blaster to image the 1-bits on the Dolev. Don't see why you could'nt do the same now.

It was a temporary solution, by June of 2000 we had replaced it with a Fuji Sumo, because the Scitex sucked. Register was hit and miss, very slow.
